The Airlock

You take a look at the rack on the back wall. The little squares all appear to be tightly-folded space suits. You take one of your size in your hands. It rests like a finely pressed shirt, only without any sort of floppiness to it. After maneuvering your fingers about, however, you find an entry point. You begin to unfold it, allowing the creases to guide each hand motion. After a bit of work, you’ve got a full-fledged spacesuit in your grip! You try it on. It fits perfectly! You also have the foresight to grab a control pack for maneuvering yourself in space, as well as a helmet. You’re all set and ready to go. Only… you’ve never actually used a spacesuit before. The astronauts all get to train with them, but you’re only a capsule inspector. But the great beyond is a devious temptress, and you’re desperate to get a taste of what it means to be an astronaut, even if your training is less than existent…

What do you do now?
