Weird Machinery
You rather not visit that shadowy figure's home, at least not where it once stood, and so, still curious, you decide to walk down into the cellar. The doors were rather old and as you opened them they creaked and whined loudly. You get the cellar doors opened and walk into the darkness. You try and feel the walls for any light switch which you find rather fast and flick it on. The room seems to be a regular boiler room, with a HUGE fuse box and lever for power, the fuses were labelled: "Mansion", "Town" and other various vague locations. There was also numerous amounts of cobwebs, ragged cloth and torn cardboard boxes within the room, the floor was also covered by a fine amount of ash. You could see another machine on the other side of the room, that one much bigger and it seemed to be able to house a person within it's opening, you slowly walk towards it.
A defeningly loud "BOO!" startles you sending you jumping into the air and into a mess of wires above, shocking you electricity coursing all throughout your body, burning you until you're but a black silhoutte of yourself, you feel.. quite dazed and lighter. You can feel yourself desintegrating into ash which falls unto a pile right where you were standing a few minutes prior. A loud cackle echoes through the room, a loud CLICK followed as the light turned off. Shortly after the buzzing sound of machinery slowly came to a stop as you were left in the darkness of the cellar.

Running into the forest might not have been the best idea but you figured it would be the same everywhere now that the power had gone and that the whole town turned dark. You hear more and more giggles and cackles from the pursuing ghosts, your flashlight hitting some of them scaring them away for a few seconds giving you a bit more time to reach somehwere, anywhere! Which you do as you see an old abandoned house with it's cellar doors open. You hold unto your flashlight and start franctically lighting up the area, thanfully the first thing you find is a HUGE fuse box and a lever for power, the fuses were labelled: "Mansion", "Town" and other various vague locations. This must have been it, the lever was lifted up to the off position. You run at it disturbing various cobwebs and ragged cloths as you reach for the lever and with all your might pull it down unto it's "on" position.
You hear a loud WHIIIRRRRL and then suddenly a light turns on illuminating the room, seems to be a regular boiler room. There was also numerous amounts of cobwebs, ragged cloth and torn cardboard boxes within the room, the floor was also covered by a fine amount of ash. You could see another machine on the other side of the room, that one much bigger and it seemed to be able to house a person within it's opening, you slowly walk towards it getting rather curious. The machine was rather wide and tall, there was but one button, and it was located within it's opening. It almost looked like a teleporter... maybe it was the way out of this place, after all the entirety of the electrical system seemed to be located in here, maybe it was the only way out. You walk into the opening and press the button.
With a loud WHIIIRRR the machine came to life, closing it's opening trapping you within it. You get startled but maybe it wou-- You felt a shock go through your body, you started feeling rather funny, and much lighter than you did before! Your body losing most of it's shape and form, the poor toon quickly being turned into a small will o' the wisp! Only a few features of your previous form remaining.
The door which shut behind you opened and you floated out.. seems it was not the exit. The light seemed to be somewhat painful to look at, and so you decided to float out of the cellar and into the woods...
