Balloon Stand

You make your way to the stand with the balloon animals adorning it; you see a carnie hand one over to a little pup who giggles with glee and leaves with their family. You're the only adult that wants one it would seem.

“Sorry, pal, that was the last balloon” the carnie announces as your once cheerful smile turns upside down into a frown. “Aw, but don't be too sad, we can make you a nice balloon!” Your eyes light up with excitement as you bounce up and down; the carnie grabs you by the lips as they pucker in his tight grip, you try to speak but only spit and splutters of anguish can only come out. He loosens his grip and blows into you, your body inflating more and more as it grows wider... larger... rounder...

You gently drift up into the air as the carnie ties a knot around your lips, tugging them nice and tight so you can't even splutter any more. You wouldn't want some air to slip out now would you? You bounce softly against the stand as the string keeps you holstered to the ground, the gentle breeze brushing past you.

“New balloon available!” he cries, “come and get it!” You frown at your predicament, but to be fair, you did agree to being a nice balloon, you just didn't specify what would be the balloon. You should have known that by now!
